Vivre et Apprendre

I went to one of the best, live, hustler, street markets I have ever been to. It is in the heart of Istanbul and you can literally find anything and everything there. Lots of colour, people, loud noises and great things to see. I bought myself a cool evil eye necklace & bracelet. Later in the day I visited the Blue Mosque. It is still a religious place, not knowing that, I went in a top dress, that showed my arms and legs; I was greeted by a security guard, who then told me the policies of the place, and handed me a blue hospital cloth to wrap around myself to cover up. Once inside I noticed they do their prayers facing Mecca: the Holy Land, men and women worship separately, and it had beautiful marble, intricate water taps everywhere so they can wash their feet, face and hands before their prayers. Very interesting and different from a Christian perspective. I finished my day with a legit Turkish bath. I have never felt so relaxed and was cleaned on top of a round marble structure, being washed by a 300 pound  lady. I think she was able to even clean my soul ;)
